I am a professional artist specialising in animal art, a traditional subject, but with a modern, colourful and contemporary spin on my style to create fun portraits. I like to create work that makes you smile! I enjoy painting different breeds of cattle, but welcome the challenge of painting any animal that catches my eye. Living on the boarders of Oxfordshire and Warwickshire there are plenty of farm animals and wildlife right on the doorstep. I have also decided this year to paint anything that might pop into my head, from the flowers in the garden to a vintage mixtape! Who knows what might actually appear on my canvases, but I can guarantee it will be super bright and vibrant!

A rainbow of bright, bold, striking colours are my core palette, I also like to play with plain and patterned backgrounds and have been known to throw in a monochromatic style in complete contrast to my usually colourful work. I nearly always work on stretched canvases of various sizes from a tiny painting that would fit in the palm of your hand to giant canvases that are taller than me! From my original work, all of which are for sale, I have my paintings professionally scanned to get a true colour matched digital image that I can use to produce prints and some gift ideas.
I love nothing more than being creative in my garden studio. It’s a fab space, it stays cosy and warm in the winter and is glorious to throw the doors open in the spring to hear the birdsong.
