Meg Rose Jewellery is a range of gold, silver and rose gold beaded jewellery with high quality gemstones and pearls.
It is designed and made by myself, Jess from my studio in Warwickshire using traditional beading and wire wrapping techniques.
My range varies from simple studs, pendants and drop earrings to more elaborate pieces including multi charm necklaces and fine necklaces with rough diamonds.
I hand pick all the gemstones and pearls carefully ensuring they are the best quality and try and do the beautiful stones justice in my designs. I love the unique natural markings, texture and colours in the stones they are simply stunning and I feel lucky to work with them.
Some of the gemstones and pearls are completely unique and customers love the fact that they are buying a one off design.
I try to use high quality metals too including sterling silver, gold fill and gold vermeil as well as rose gold. All the earrings are hypo-allergenic and suitable for sensitive ears.
I love to use high quality and often unique gemstones and pearls, along with gold, silver and rose gold findings and charms, suede, cord and tassels to create original designs.
I have an arts background, my Mum is a painter and I studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Brighton University.
My inspiration stems from the amazing colours, textures and sparkle of the gemstones and pearls that I use in my jewellery making. Often my designs stem from the stones themselves and working out the best way to use them.
I love the colours of the sea and the idea of buried treasure. I also love the idea of fairytales and creating jewellery that has a magical feel. I am inspired by the English countryside too and love all flowers, especially roses and peonies.
I am always inspired by the customers I meet, it is very rewarding to see the customer try on a piece that looks like it was made for them and suits their colouring so well.
