As a self taught woodturner I enjoy the process of crafting beautiful wooden items using a lathe and a selection of gouges and chisels, revealing amazing grains in wood, maximising surface area and working with what is before me in an organic way. As a precious resource I often reuse wood to give it another life, it may have been part of something else before!
