Look out for our Summer Virtual Art Exhibition 2022 on Instagram and Facebook in late June/early July.
Well can you? Yes, you can!
Ever wondered if you have the talent to learn to draw, to paint, to embroider, to make bread, to sing or play music, to learn a foreign language or improve your history knowledge? But, oh, you don’t want the stress of exams or being tested – you just want to learn and have fun.
Then, Rugby’s Percival Guildhouse is the place for you. As the only non-vocational adult education centre in Warwickshire it offers a relaxed learning experience where inquisitive minds can explore their talents. It’s a place where lifelong friendships are formed, where people are supported and encouraged to “give it a go”.
The Percival Guildhouse, tucked just behind Rugby Library, Art Gallery & Museum, in the town’s historic conservation area, offers a delightful escape from the day-to-day. Its qualified tutors bring their years of experience to all classes, often themselves enjoying the change from teaching university and college courses.
Each year The Percival Guildhouse offers between 70-80 courses a term, plus a wide variety of Saturday day schools in February, April and June. Courses take place throughout the day and in the evening.
The Percival Guildhouse is a charity and the extensive involvement of trustees and other volunteers, working alongside its dedicated in-house team, is what gives it its unique personality. Staff take the time with students to understand their interests and concerns – and affordability need not be an issue, the Guildhouse accepts spread payments and subsidies are available for those who qualify.
