Since the age of 14 years old, Photography has been an important part of my life and creativity. When I first held a camera and stepped into a studio and darkroom, I was hooked and loved all the possibilities that came with it. This led me to complete a degree in Photographic Art and then to sharing my passion and becoming an art educator. So, 22 years later, my own creative and experimental journey begins.
My current work focuses on the beauty that nature brings to the world. The abstract colourful forms where light and different viewpoints accentuate the detail amazes me. The blends of soft and subtle tones created by the unusual shapes look almost like paintings. I love that the lines between art and photography are blurred and make the viewer do a double take trying to decipher the image. I hope my work helps you to appreciate the world around you more!
