I have always had an interest in making things from a very young age and creating is very much a part of me.
I studied fine jewellery making and design at The Kent Institute of Art and Design after finishing school. This was a great few years of my life and definitely developed my love of a process to create a finished piece. However life, family and moving meant that creating became something to fit in around everything else.
I took a print making evening course at Warwickshire College and discovered Lino printing. I love the processes involved; drawing out the image, transferring to the block, carving, inking and printing. Yes it takes time but, the pleasure in seeing the final print and knowing that each print has it own uniqueness is, to me, worth it.
