I currently exhibit regularly at 'The Gallery at the Guild' in Chipping Campden and will be having a featured exhibition 'Wild' from 3rd June - 13th July 2022
I also exhibit at 'Take 4' gallery in Ledbury and will be showing work in March 2022 for their 'On The Wing' exhibition.
I have had an affinity with photography from an early age and was never very far away from a camera, constantly documenting family and friends, on holidays and in everyday life. After attending a fine art degree course I worked for local newspapers and became a staff photographer with the Evesham Journal series, using black & white film and processing techniques.
Whilst raising a family, I began teaching photography at Evesham College of Higher Education and have recently retired after 20 years. I can now devote more of my time to my passion for landscape, wildlife and travel photography. In 2021 I started a new series of still life photographs of everyday objects, using a balance of natural and artificial light in a mock up studio indoors. I was excited to try to elevate and give a different spin on everyday objects. It is a delight to have an outlet for expressing my love of light and the ever changing weather and how it transforms the sky and landscape I see in front of me. However, it means I am constantly on the lookout for sunrises, sunsets and late evening light, which means I am never settled until I can get out with my camera.
