Over recent years I have been on a journey of rediscovering my artistic roots by exploring a range of media including acrylics, oils and wet felting. In addition, the input from a variety of tutors and painters who have both inspired and guided me has enabled me to continue to develop and grow as an artist.
Whilst out walking in nature I am often reflective and captivated by the interaction of light, colour and texture. Once back in my studio I spend time sketching by referencing the many photos I have taken before engaging in the exciting process of evoking what has inspired me from a particular viewpoint or a sense of time and space.
In 2020 I joined the Courtyard Gallery at the Stratford Garden Centre where I have continually exhibited and sold my work. In 2021 I was one of three artists in residence there for Warwickshire Open Studios. This year I am delighted to be exhibiting alongside three other talented artists in St Johns Church in Coventry.
