I have always enjoyed exploring various creative media from painting to film making but few years ago I discovered fused glass and was instantly hooked by the way the colours react to heat and light. I love the way the glass melts together and makes flowing patterns. There are so many techniques to use with fused glass that I am never bored and have to stop myself from flitting from one to another like a butterfly. I particularly enjoy using glass powders combined with cut pieces of glass to create images and striking patterns inspired by nature. Recently I have begun to use glass enamels to paint on to the glass and have begun to explore the exciting effects this can produce. The possibilities are never ending!
