I have painted, drawn and made things for as long as I can remember. Following my Art & Design degree I lost my confidence so painting behind closed doors. With the encouragement of friends, I found my confidence again and started making my art public. My love of oil painting runs deep and I also paint in or on other mediums. I find its richness and depth of colour lovely to work with. Recently I have been painting on gold leaf which I’m finding both messy and delightful. The reflective quality and its delicacy and very interesting. Forever learning new skills, I embarked on a journey to learn Graphic Design last year with a view to incorporating it into my fine work.
This year I have collaborated with 3 other local artists on an installation project called Coventry - Lost, found and imagined. This collaboration is extremely exciting for me as working on photographs is also a new medium, full of possibilities. We are John Whitmore (photography), Amanda Glanville (Glass maker of Tiny Things) and Emma O'Brien (Illustration). We are looking forward to welcoming you to our exhibition at Holy Trinity Church in the City Centre
