Since its humble beginnings back in 2000 involving just a few dozen artists, Warwickshire Open Studios has grown into a hugely popular event with over 400 artists from across Coventry & Warwickshire taking part each summer. Initially run by the Council before being handed over to the artists, WOS is now a self-funded organisation run by artists – for local artists and art lovers.

To celebrate our 21st birthday we have carefully curated an exhibition to showcase 21 artists with 21 artworks to represent our 21-year history and our members’ rich diversity of talent. Artists have been selected from the small pool that have exhibited for the full 21 years, those with a story to tell about the impact WOS has had on them as an artist and those artists responsible for making the event happen.

There will be a wonderful display of 2D and 3D pieces in the stunning surroundings of the Hammam at the Art Gallery & Museum, which is free to access.  The artists are:

  1. Alix Almond (Printmaking)
  2. Angela Webb (Painting)
